Two hide trimming & packing lines can be utilised for hide processing
Calf Skins
Calf skins are Corium’s specialty. Separate areas and specific equipment including a state of the art processing “chain” are set aside for the processing of calf. Corium’s large processing capacity is sufficient to accommodate the total Victorian calf kill.
Slinks
Slinks require special handling given their delicate characteristics. Special techniques are employed to maintain skin quality.
Other Skins
Sheep, goat, and kangaroo skins are also processed by Corium. Procedures and handling techniques vary to accommodate various species.
Religious Requirements
Kosher and Halal processing services are offered by Corium. This procedure utilizes segregated areas, hand salting by specially selected employees, separate equipment and supervision.
